The Western extension of the Santa Fe Trail, over which pioneers traveled to California, was known as the Mojave Road. This trail ends at the current location of the Trails End Cafe.

Below, the Trails End Cafe Cook's Dad on our Triumph in about 1975. Motorcycling is a family tradition!

In September of 2007 a few of the TEC Regulars broke in the Cook's new engine on a short (80-mile) rain-soaked local mountain ride. A few Pictures are below:

In August of 2007 a group of Trails End Cafe regulars and three Australians rode the 32nd Annual Colorado 500 Charity Dirt Bike Ride. Good friends met from all over the world to ride together for another great year. Pictures below are in no particular order.

Colorado is beautiful!

Some repairs were necessary.

The best part was meeting with old and new friends!!

Everyone did their best not to bother the locals.

At Grandpa's request, here is Ryan Miller at Engineer Pass...Youth!!!

Another great ride was enjoyed by all..

In April, 2007 Leroy and the Trail's End Cafe Cook took a trip to the American Motorcyclist Association Headquarters in Ohio and the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum in Alabama. At AMA Leroy donated his collection of Cycle News to the museum director, Mark Medeski, for their library. Mark treated us to a VIP tour of the collection.

At the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum in Albama we suffered major sensory overload! The Barber Collection Director, Brian (a former District 37 Desert Racer) showed us the yet-to-be-finished bikes and restoration facilities - neat!
